During the ceremony of Waste & Recycling Awards 2017, KAFSIS presented for the first time the innovative environmental program ZERO WASTE. It is an online application exclusively designed for all organic waste producers, regardless of their size. “The program already applies to over 3000 tons of animal by-products, with significant results” says Thodoris Kaskanis, Dipl. Chemical Engineer, CEO of KAFSIS, at Plant Magazine (Waste and Recycling Awards 2017). Supermarkets, Dairies, Food Warehouses, Food Industries, Aquaculture, Catering, are significant participants in ZERO WASTE program which is expected to be applied to more than 1,000 producers in 2018.
